Science Year 7 Model Cell Homework Competition
The Science Department have launched a Model Cell Homework Competition for Year 7.
The task is to produce a 3D model cell (plant or animal) which is fully labelled. Cells will be judged by the Science Department and prizes awarded for Most Scientific, Most Creative and Most Effort.

A great deal of effort has been put into making model cells by Year 7 students. Some of their work is shown below.
The winner will be announced on Friday 21st October.

The Science Department would like to thank all Year 7 students who created a model cell as part of the homework task (and parents/guardians for their support). There were lots of excellent models and the final decision was very hard to make.

Haydock Curriculum

Haydock Leisure Centre
Facilities With a £250,000 refurbishment in 2006, the PE department and Leisure Centre were refurbished to accommodate more people and classes, offering a wide range of activities to students and the wider community. The changing rooms are of a high standard with disabled access, automatic showers and private cubicles. Sports Hall The Sports Hall can accommodate the following: 5 a side football, whole Sports Hall Cricket, whole Sports Hall Badminton, whole or half Sports Hall Keep Fit and much more.
