Haydock High School Says Goodbye to 2016/17 Leavers

Haydock High School said farewell and wished our Year 11 'good luck' at the recent Leavers’ Assembly. The Year 11 students who attended had their shirts signed, ate pizza and cake, and reminisced and chuckled at photographs from all the way back to Year 7. Awards were made after nominations and votes by Year 11 students and a special award - ‘The Shivohn Watson Award’ - was presented to Joe Waring, for being the student most respected by his peers for his kindness and friendliness.

The following week, students attended their Leavers’ Prom at the Mercure Hotel in Haydock. Arrival was in various modes of transport - camper van, stretch limousine, vintage cars and even a horse drawn carriage. All who attended looked wonderful in their outfits and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Everyone at Haydock High School would like to warmly wish our leaving Year 11 "Good Luck"; we look forward to seeing you all on the 24th August for Results Day.

Over the last few years we have been successful in achieving Sportsmark, Investors in People, Artsmark, Careers and Guidance and Healthy Schools accreditation. We were also awarded the accolade of a ‘Get Set’ school in the run-up to the 2012 London Olympics.
