Message from Merseytravel re Goverment Guidelines on wearing a face covering on public transport
With some pupil cohorts returning to school and travelling on the public transport network we would like to advise and confirm that all pupils over the age of 10 years old should be wearing a face covering on their bus journeys to and from school in line with the Government Guidance. The only exception to this is for individuals with medical exemptions.
Merseytravel would welcome the support of schools in communicating this message to both pupils and parents to raise awareness and help enforce this mandatory Government requirement.
Kind regards

Haydock Curriculum
The pace of curriculum change continues to accelerate, for example introducing a more flexible Key Stage 3. Our constant planning offers confidence for successful delivery and assessment of these areas.
Over the last few years we have been successful in achieving Sportsmark, Investors in People, Artsmark, Careers and Guidance and Healthy Schools accreditation. We were also awarded the accolade of a ‘Get Set’ school in the run-up to the 2012 London Olympics.
